Achieving Environmental Sustainability
At the beginning of 2008, UB launched a new set of specific targets to help the business achieve environmental sustainability.
These covered the following areas:
- Reducing carbon emissions and energy use
- Reducing waste sent to landfill
- Reducing water
- Reducing packaging waste
- Increasing our use of environmentally friendly transport
- Increasing sustainable sourcing
